Mexico vs. France 2010 World Cup

France will steam roll over Mexico. This was not the case yesterday as the unexpected happened. Mexico just upset highly ranked France yesterday via a 2-0 win.

They came out strong in the first half though not actually scoring they were able to hit goal attempts that gave everyone in France a lot of anxiety. It was a close game at the first half as both teams had their fair share of attempts and no one was able to score. Nobody was expecting Mexico to do that well in the game.

Mexico celebrated as they scored the first goal of the game and they scored it on a very highly regarded team like France. After that goal it was all down hill for France as ten minutes later, another goal was made for Mexico via a penalty kick. On the second half however it was a different story as in the early minutes, Mexico was able to get a goal in.

Now, the only way France will be moving to the next round of the FIFA World Cup is if Mexico beats Uruguay on the next game and that they beat South Africa convincingly but this is a long shot and many sports insiders are saying that what they need now is a miracle.

Nintendo 3DS Gets Official and its Release Date

Nintendo fought hard to keep us from taking direct pictures of the screen, because it doesn't photograph well at all, so if you're concerned about the screen due to some of the shots you've seen, don't be: it's fine, possibly even great.

The screen itself is very high quality, and while it's just the slightest bit brighter and cleaner with 3D turned off it takes nowhere near the hit in brightness that you get with 3D glasses.

The Nintendo 3DS is an upcoming portable game console by Nintendo, which can produce "3D effects without the need for any special glasses." Scheduled for release in the fiscal year ending March 2011, the portable will succeed the Nintendo DS series of handhelds, which primarily shares the handheld console market with Sony's PSP.

The Nintendo 3DS will feature backward compatibility with Nintendo DS series software, including DSiWare software programmed for the Nintendo DSi.

Boston has the rivalry's Game 7 history on its side, the Celtics have plenty stacked against them after an embarrassing 89-67 loss in Game 6 Tuesday night. Most glaringly, Boston won't have starting center Kendrick Perkins, who sprained multiple ligaments in his right knee in the first quarter.

The Celtics' starting five has never lost a playoff series, but that five must change for Game 7. Although Perkins is a role player next to Boston's Big Three and point guard Rajon Rondo, the Celtics must hope veteran Rasheed Wallace and youngster Glen Davis can make up for Perkins' inside defense and rebounding.

The Celtics have more experience in seventh games than the Lakers over the past three years, playing in two deciding games in 2008 and two more last year. Boston coach Doc Rivers thinks his club's big-game toughness mostly grew from those high stakes.

Pierce is usually the only player in this series who embraces its history, yet it's too soon to say where these finals will fit in the rivalry's annals. Although the games had been uniformly competitive before the Lakers' blowout win in Game 6, they haven't been spectacularly played, with gritty defense trumping offense in most of the major moments.

Los Angeles is in just its second Game 7 of the past three seasons, but that's because the Lakers have been better at avoiding trouble while winning 10 playoff series since Pau Gasol joined them in 2008. Apple and AT&T Carrier suspends iPhone 4 sales because of huge demand. Apple Inc. and partner AT&T Inc. were so slammed with orders that they were temporarily suspending sales to make sure they didn't sell more units than they could make.

Apple said it sold 600,000 phones Tuesday, the day it began taking orders online. That amounted to 10 times more advance orders than it had received for the previous version last year. The new phone hits Apple and partner stores June 24.

AT&T's trouble handling the demand for new phones was reminiscent of its issues supporting the heavy load on its wireless networks, which it says are handling 50 times as much data as they were three years ago.

AT&T has remained confident in its ability to handle the ever-increasing load in its networks. The company says that over the last two years it has spent upward of $19 billion expanding and enhancing its 3G networks, and that it drops only about 1% of its calls on a nationwide basis.

Loaded down with all that traffic, AT&T has earned a reputation for spotty cellular coverage, slow loading time for Web pages and dropped calls. In January, Consumer Reports released a survey of 54,000 consumers in which AT&T was ranked last among wireless providers in 19 of the 26 major cities included in the study.

Walmart is going to sell the iPhone 4 on June 24th, that much is a given. However, there doesn’t seem to be a clear, concise, confirmed approach to the whole pre-order business. Basically, no one knows. So, unless you absolutely need to be at Walmart at 5:30am tomorrow morning.

The RadioShack are accepting trade-ins for discounts on the iPhone 4.

MTV Searching for First TJ Twitter Jockey‎ - Join Now - MTV officials say the search is on for a new social media maven who will engage with the MTV audience and serve as a liaison between viewers and network honchos.

MTV General Manager Stephen Friedman called the TJ position "a natural evolution of how we connect with our audience."

The network has identified 18 potential candidates and is asking its audience to find two more. The 20 hopefuls will compete in a series of online challenges this summer designed to reveal their personalities and demonstrate how they connect with Twitter followers.

Five finalists will ultimately compete on a live show on Aug. 8, when fans will pick who gets the new job.

Gulf oil spill: BP agrees to $20 billion spill fund - The deal gave Obama his most tangible success since the crisis began 58 days ago and came after weeks of criticism of his handling of the disaster.

BP and its promises to stem the oil are firmly in "the boy who cried wolf" territory. Yet Mr. Obama, in one of the most important speeches of his presidency, pinned no small amount of his credibility in the crisis on a plan that BP itself is trying to downplay.

Under the agreement, BP committed to pay $20 billion into an independently managed fund over four years, suspend dividend payments for the rest of the year and pay $100 million to workers idled by the six-month moratorium on deep-sea drilling that the Obama administration imposed after the spill.

The $20 billion figure is roughly equal to BP's average annual profits over the past four years. BP is expected to report net profits of $18.9 billion in 2010, according to Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S consensus estimates.

The president's statement came only a few days after BP had to backtrack on executive Doug Suttles's comment that the flow at the Macondo well would close to "a trickle" soon. Moreover, they've had to defend early decisions not to calculate the flow rate accurately – saying it wasn't important.

Epicenter of San Diego earthquake, that hit the area today, is being said as southeast of Ocotillo at around 5 miles away within the area of Imperial County which is situated around the Mexican border, according to the reports of California Integrated Seismic Network.

Initial magnitude of this earthquake was told as 5.9 but later on a correction was made with 5.7 magnitude and time was told as 9:30 PM PDT when people shook with this earthquake.

Depth of San Diego earthquake today was noted as 4.3 miles, however still there is no news of any kind of casualty or damage reported by any authentic source.

The concert king Martin Nievera has violated Republic Act No. 8491 Law. Section 37 of the law states:"The rendition of the National Anthem, whether played or sung, shall be in accordance with the musical arrangement and composition of Julian Felipe."

I agree with Ivanhenares.com, Martin shouldn't changed the notes of the National Anthem, specially in the last line, where he changed it into higher note.
He should ask a public apology.
We know that Martin lived in America for a couple of months before to find his singing career there, but unfortunately he didn't succeed. Is this his reason why he changed the note into higher just to WOW and AMAZE the people there? Hmmm...
