The Philippine National Anthem : the Martin Nievera Rendition

Tuesday, May 5, 2009
Above is the Video of Martin Nievera in his rendition of the Philippine National Anthem "Lupang Hinirang" during "The Battle of East and West" a.k.a Pacquiao-Hatton fight. The concert king Martin Nievera has violated Republic Act No. 8491 Law. Section 37 of the law states:"The rendition of the National Anthem, whether played or sung, shall be in accordance with the musical arrangement and composition of Julian Felipe."

I agree with Ivanhenares.com, Martin shouldn't changed the notes of the National Anthem, specially in the last line, where he changed it into higher note.
He should ask a public apology.
We know that Martin lived in America for a couple of months before to find his singing career there, but unfortunately he didn't succeed. Is this his reason why he changed the note into higher just to WOW and AMAZE the people there? Hmmm...
